Finding the unknown

Clients often approach Moisture Scan Technologies with a general idea of what they need. In this case the client was told by a roofing company that his roof needed to be completely removed down to the deck and replaced. After completing our investigation we found very minimal repairs that needed to be made, before a roof restoration project could take place VS. a full re roof. The outcome was over $100,000 dollar savings to the client after utilizing our reports to come up with an "outside of the box" solution to his roofing project.

CHERRY HILLS COMMUNITY CHURCH

An Innovative Solution

Often times our clients have tried everything they can to solve the problem on their own.This time after multiple failed repair attempts, this roof system needed some deeper investigation to find and stop the cause of leaking water into the buildings front reception area. We were able to identify saturated insulation materials and heavy vapor drive from the incorrectly installed parapet wall systems.  With some focused repairs the customer is now leak free.

DENVER ATHLETIC CLUB

A Story of Success

We approached this project carefully, teaming up with the selected roofing contractor. We were able to pinpoint the sources of water infiltration to create a plan to surgically remove the affected areas of the roof. Creating a dry substrate condition suitable for a 25 Year warrantied restoration to take place over the newly repaired and now dry roof system. This resulted in a substantial cost savings for the client by eliminating the need to fully remove the existing roof system.

AMACON PROPERTY ACQUISITION

Real estate investments

Moisture Scan Technologies was approached by this client after a recent purchase of a large 85,000 square foot commercial property.They received mixed reports about the condition of the roofing on the property. After completing our surveys and report, it was concluded that very minor repairs were needed. The property is now an excellent candidate for a restoration system instead of a full re roof. Its estimated our services will save the client over $300,000.

PARKER ADVENTIST HOSPITAL SIERRA BUILDING

Preventative Solutions for long term performance.

On this project our client approached us with focused need in mind. The building has reached ten years in age and the client wanted to see how the wall and windows systems were holding up to the harsh Colorado climate. After an infrared scan of the building it was determined that some routine maintenance of the glazing and EIFS joints would be helpful in extending the service life of the in place systems.

RIVER WALK VILLAGE

Turning a New Page

When a client chooses to recover an existing roof system its a smart move to make sure the new roof is not covering up old problems. During the re roof process an aerial infrared scan was determined to be a valuable tool to identify and replace wet insulation and substrates before the new roof covering went on. Now the wet areas have addressed and the clients have a new dry and reliable roof system.

An Innovative Solution

We approached this project carefully, as it was in a high traffic pedestrian area at the base of a ski resort. Together with the chosen roofing contractor we were able to identify areas of wet substrate for replacement. After the wet areas were repaired a new fluid applied restoration system will be installed over the newly dry and structurally sound substrate.   


By utilizing this approach the client will gain a new 20 year warranted roof system while saving substantial  time and and cost over traditional roofing operations.
